A starting price is
only the beginning.

Put the same hours and deliverables side by side. A six-hour photography collection and an eight-hour photo + film collection serve different plans. Here is what our current collections include.

Tell us your date and venue, and ask us to confirm your assigned photographer and film team before booking. The people covering your day depend on your collection and availability; this team introduction does not mean every member is included.

02 / Meet the people behind the cameras

Choose the people,
as well as the portfolio.

A studio’s name tells only part of the story. Ask for your lead photographer’s name, their role, and a complete wedding they personally photographed. Ask the same about your film team.

With Delight Story, start by telling us your date and venue. Ask us to confirm who would cover your celebration and talk through your priorities before you decide.

Ask about your wedding team →
  • Who is the lead photographer, and when is that assignment confirmed?
  • Is a second photographer included, optional, or unavailable?
  • Who films and edits the wedding, and which films will you receive?
  • What does the agreement say about illness, substitutions and backup coverage?

03 / The extras, made clear

Keep the surprises
on the dance floor.

Time & team

Confirm consecutive hours, travel between locations and overtime. Our extra hours are $200 for photography or $300 for photo + film, before tax. A videographer is a separate role from a second photographer; ask for any additional photographer to be quoted explicitly.

Albums & prints

Compare size, material, page count, design revisions and delivery. Our Essential album + print addition is $250 before tax: a 10×10 leather layflat album with 20 pages, one revision and an unframed 16×20 print. It is included in Signature.

Films & sessions

A highlight film and a ceremony film are different deliverables. Signature includes both; Essential Photo + Film includes the highlight. Engagement and bridal sessions are $350 each before tax, with any location fees quoted separately.

For any proposal, ask about sales tax, service charges, travel, parking or location fees, extra album pages, raw footage, full speeches, rush delivery and extra edits. “Available” does not mean “included.” Our builder lists the additions currently offered; ask us about anything outside that list.

04 / Real experience at real venues

See a wedding.
Not just a favorite frame.

Look for indoor ceremonies, low-light receptions and portraits throughout a full celebration. Explore our actual wedding galleries at these Houston-area venues.

A gallery shows our work at a venue; it does not imply a current preferred-vendor partnership or endorsement.

05 / Before you sign

Six questions.
A much clearer decision.

  1. Who will photograph and film our wedding? Get names, roles, assignment timing and the substitution policy in writing.
  2. What happens during our coverage hours? Match start and finish times to preparations, ceremony, portraits and your exit.
  3. What exactly arrives afterward? List photographs, film lengths, ceremony or speech edits, printing rights, album specifications and gallery access.
  4. What is the complete price? Add tax, extra hours, sessions, keepsakes and any travel or venue-related charges.
  5. When do we receive everything? Our current FAQ lists photographs within two weeks, included highlights within four weeks and included ceremony films within six weeks. Album timing begins after selections and design approval.
  6. When is our date reserved? Delight Story requires an available date, signed agreement, successful $1,000 retainer payment and booking confirmation. The retainer is credited toward the total.

A few helpful answers

Your venue. Your plans.
Clear next steps.

Can we choose a photographer outside our venue’s package?

Ask your venue to confirm its rules for your specific date and contract. Request written details about outside photo/video teams, insurance, access times, paperwork and any fees. A preferred-vendor recommendation alone does not answer those questions.

Does a photo + film package mean two photographers?

No. Our photo + film collections include one photographer and one videographer. They have different jobs. If you want a second photographer, ask about availability and pricing before booking.

Should we choose the lowest starting price?

Compare the complete coverage you actually want, alongside full galleries, films and the people doing the work. Leave out additions you do not need. A higher or lower starting price alone does not tell you which collection fits.
